Conducted by the UK Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) in conjunction with the Regional Technology Centre (RTC), our assessment “ticked every box” in their business evaluation criteria and indicates we are undoubtedly on the right track to becoming a truly ’world class’ organisation.

More Building Work

To cope with the recent increase in our UK and export sales volumes, new building work has begun at our Cramlington site. The developments will not only increase the production and despatch areas but will also include new dedicated workshop facilities for storage and production of “special” projects. Seizing the initiative.....

Our export sales manager Steve Carroll recently attended the international exhibition for fire equipment in the Czech Republic. It was the first time the company had been represented at the exhibition that is a showcase for Eastern European markets. The event had over 290 firms exhibiting from 19 countries and attracted around 23,000 visitors from 45 nations.

Top Marks……

The British Fire Protection Systems Association recently ran a system design course at our new training and conferencing centre at Claycliffe R&D premises in Barnsley.

After receiving the basic induction training on fire system design from our in-house training facilitators Paul Duffy and John Newton, our two “new lads” Alan Reid and Richard Harris both scored a perfect 100 per cent. Both Alan and Richard have only recently joined the company and are new to the industry. We were extremely pleased that they achieved such a high score which we can only attribute to the quality of our in-house training.
